Wet Sand Screening Towers

Design of three sand screening towers using wet-process. The towers had footprints of 20 feet by 20 feet and varied in height from 30 feet to fifty feet. All the towers included multiple platform levels and access stairs. All towers were designed using structural steel.

Modifications to an existing building as well as added additional structures and platforms to support the sand system for a continuous foundry mold making process. A work platform, designed for 250 PSF live load was part of the project. The structure was designed using structural steel.
