Structural Engineer
Full Job Description
Participate as a team member in the technical development of schematic, design development, construction documents, specifications and construction administration for institutional and commercial building projects. Ohio PE Required
Job Duties:
-
Structural engineering of building systems for institutional, retail and commercial building projects. Prepare calculations and well coordinated, technically sound construction documents that are cost effective, efficient and constructible in a friendly work environment.

Communicate and coordinate with architects, owners, other engineering disciplines, vendors, building officials, other consultants, etc. throughout the design phases of the building project.

Perform engineering calculations including building loads, lateral and gravity design of building systems etc.

Must meet client schedules and internal design and construction administration time budgets.

Office construction administration including review of shop drawings, respond to RFI’s, and coordinate with contractors, design team, building officials, owner, etc. through the construction phase of the building project.

Experience in AutoCAD, RISA, and other structural engineering design software required. Experience in REVIT a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Administrative Assistant
Job Description:
Seeking an Administrative Assistant for a part-time, long-term opportunity. This front desk position is for 30 hours a week (9am-3:30 with ½ hour unpaid lunch), Mon-Fri with available benefits.
Job Responsibilities:

Answer, direct phone calls, take, and distribute messages
-
Handle or direct inquiries and requests
-
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail

Type documents and correspondence, photocopy, scan, and fax documents
-
Maintain both electronic and paper-based filing systems
-
Update and maintain database
-
Order office supplies and keep office area neat and tidy
-
Process incoming client payments
-
Perform other administrative duties as required
Qualifications:

Must have prior administrative and general office experience

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet searches

Must be detail-oriented, organized, highly motivated with the ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and solve problems

Must have a professional phone presence with excellent communication skills
-
Must have accurate data entry skills and familiarity with billing programs

Must want a part-time, long-term opportunity

Must be dependable with a solid work history
Benefits:

5 days (30 hours) PTO

2 weeks (60 hours) vacation time accrued at a biweekly rate during first year, two weeks annually after first year of employment
Pay - $18-$20 hourly dependent on past experience. Benefits after 60-day evaluation.
